Fully customizable control.

  • Turn down the heat based on occupancy. Motion detectors sense when a suite is occupied or empty. If there’s no motion for a preset period of time, the heat can be adjusted accordingly. But if motion is detected in a previously occupied suite, the heat can be raised automatically to accommodate tenant needs.
  • Adjust individual suite schedules and set-points to meet tenant requests. Adjustments can be pre-set on a per hour, per minute, per month or per suite basis. For instance, the heat can be raised in an elderly couple’s suite, reduced in all suites at night, or reduced for an entire month when a tenant is on vacation.
  • Turn down the heat if the tenant leaves a window open.
  • Suites interact with each other to reduce waste and increase comfort. For instance, if apartment 501 is above apartment 401, much of 501’s heat comes from 401. To compensate, Happy Building’s technology coordinates the control of all suites. In this example, 501’s thermostat would automatically be adjusted so no energy is wasted and tenants are more comfortable.
