Business Development Manager, All Provinces

We are currently seeking Business Development Managers across the country to market our innovative energy control solution to residential building owners. This individual will enjoy a high profile position within a company that is ready to launch this new technology out to the Canadian market. Because this technology will substantially reduce energy costs and emissions, it is a "must have" for building owners.
The ideal applicant:
- Must have a proven history of developing new business and being a true ‘hunter’ in their respective industry.
- Will be dynamic and self motivated and adept at building strong relationships at all levels of business.
- Will have several years of Sales/Business Development experience and must possess the ability to interact with building owners on high dollar sales.
- Will be computer literate and will be proficient in creating and presenting proposals
- Will ideally have prior HVAC industry expertise but is not essential.
- Will ideally have post secondary qualifications in a business related field or relevant equivalent experience.
In addition, the candidate:
- Will assist our team in completing a sales strategy and marketing plan
- Should quickly close sales with building owners in our data base
- Must continuously interact with property management firms
- Will co-ordinate the installation of the equipment between the principal and end user
- Will represent our system and company at trade shows
- Is expected to follow up on sales prospects and will be an expert networker
- Will feed back market intelligence on a timely basis
